Navigating Friendship Struggles
Every day, children face social pressures and emotional challenges - from friendship issues to peer pressure and power plays. The internet and social media compound the situation.
KinWise resources give parents practical tips and conversation starters to solve immediate issues - before they escalate - followed by research backed emotional learning to help build confidence and resilience for the longer term.
What We Offer:
- Practical insights for different situations
- Simple conversation starters
- Insights on brain development and why people do what they do
- Awareness, confidence and preventative skills for life

Prevention is better than Cure
No parent can child proof the world. Our job is to prepare our children for it. (Inspired by Doug Flanders, MD)
KinWise resources provide insight and practical tips in bite-sized chunks – giving you confidence to guide and support your child's learning. With age sensitive materials designed for sharing, you can help them build emotional awareness and resilience.
When children can recognise feelings in themselves and others, manage their behaviour and take responsibility for themselves when needed, they have the skills to build the genuine, fulfilling, healthy connections they need to thrive.
Parent friendly Expertise
KinWise was founded by Dee Kelly, who spent more than a decade leading and working closely with psychologists, social workers, therapists and educators. During that time, their work on school-based emotional development and support programs grew to impact approximately 750,000 children per year, in the UK and abroad.
KinWise resources are not only grounded in professional experience, but also in hands-on parenting. As a Master's qualified researcher and mother of four, Dee is passionate about children's wellbeing and believes that understanding behaviour as an expression of emotional need is helpful to parents and children alike.
